Superfans: Caitlin and Natalie
Newbies: Mitch and Kristen

Fun Facts:

Mitch is moving across the country... again. Yay Mitch, but also poor Mitch. Kristen is excited for her Detroit Lions to play the Seattle Seahawks in their playoff game. Go Lions! Caitlin is rooting against Kristen and her Lions, but Kristen totally understands. Caitlin's Falcons are off this week, but she's hoping for a Seattle win for an easier road to the Superbowl. Yay sports! Natalie hasn't been to American sporting events, but she's been to a couple of ballparks, including Comerica Park with the giant sculpted Tigers outside the park.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer season 5, episode 6, "Family":
-Synopsis
-We go on a bit of an Amy Adams tangent, but Caitlin brings it back around.
-So, Buffy knows what's going on with Dawn, and she tells Giles, but decides to keep it a secret from everyone else. This is going to go SO well. *note sarcasm*
-A little spoiler Netflix art discussion.
-Buffy moves out of her dorm and back home to keep an eye on Dawn. All the thoughts.
-Riley has some issues in this episode.
-What exactly does Riley have beside Buffy in his life?
-This is a Tara-centric episode! Yay!
-We finally know why she stole that powder from the spell all those episodes back!
-Mitch is still having issues believing that Tara isn't evil, but she is totally human with powers and yay for Willow not losing another lover.
-It may have been interesting if Tara was part demon, just to explore the dynamics of evil demons and non-evil ones.
-That Cordy line instigates a lot of thought from Natalie. Did Buffy's Joss show a little there?
-Oh Spike and his sex dreams. We are so here for it.

Angel season 2, episode 6, "Guise Will Be Guise":
-Synopsis
-That opening scene: Love it? Hate it?
-Gunn in the karaoke bar is basically the best thing ever.
-Angel goes to the swami to get help dealing with his spiritual quest.
-Did we believe that this swami-guy was the actual swami?
-He was such a good impersonator that we were totally sucked into his diatribe about Angel and his convertible as well as his comments on the clothes and hair.
-Were they planning to dig into Angel's sillier side on Buffy? It would have been a shame to miss him and all his floppiness.
-We dissect Angel's accents.
-Wesley plays one hell of a great Angel. We are so here for this.
-Angel's persona stands for itself. Wesley doesn't even have to do much to protect Virginia.
-Virginia's not-so-virgin-hood puts a kink in her father's evil plan.
-Angel needs a special prison for all the terrible humans. They may not have committed illegal acts, but they're just horrid.
-We discuss how Angel feels a little less dated than Buffy in terms of content.
