Aug 11, 2013, 06:00 PM

ReWatchable is here for another episode! We continue our recaps of Veronica Mars in this episode, where we cover 1×03 “Meet John Smith” and 1×04 “The Wrath of Con.”

Shownotes:

-We promise that we're not sponsored by Warner Brothers.

-Mitch and Ariana bash on Veronica Mars for their unrealistic driving.

-The transgendered storyline was handled extremley well for an early 2000s show.

-Veronica's scene with her mother's friend was some of the best acting we've seen on the show so far.

-So what in the world is Veronica's mother up to?

-Mitch asks some important logistic questions, like about who is belived to be Lilly's killer at this point?

-Ariana makes a breakthrough comparison to Kim Possible.

-Troy's continuing to be sketchy AND he's not on the DVD box, further incriminating him.

-Veronica's voiceovers worked well for the pilot, but they're slowly starting to die down as we get to know her a bit more.

-We compare Veronica Mars to Aaron Sorkin's writing in that we always care for characters.

-Duncan's relaxed attitude as he went off his meds for a while on 1x03 was really fun.

-The Lilly hallucination was eerie, but revealed just the right amount of her personality. Why was Duncan seeing her at all?

-We were really excited that the voice of Penny Proud from The Proud Family, Kyla Pratt, played Georgia in 1x04.

-Veronica's multiple personas in this episode made this one of the best episodes of the show ever, according to our super fan.

-Lilly is the anti-"beautiful corpse," which Ariana explains from an English major's viewpoint.

-We really liked the Lilly flashbacks, because they showed that she wasn't the good girl that the memorial tried to show.

-We loved Gamergirl as a personality so much!
