Students at a school in Nottingham are going to wear donated dresses to their prom so they don't feel pressured into spending hundreds on outfits.

Sandra Bromley, the Head of Year 11 at Bluecoat Beechdale Academy in Bilborough, came up with the idea after finding a load of dresses she didn't wear in her wardrobe.

Other teachers also had dresses they wanted to donate too.
