Day of the African Child – Children encouraged to make their voices heard

Children in South Sudan are being encouraged to stand up and demand their rights.

Kimmie Weeks a youth activist and survivor of the civil war in Liberia says the rights of children should always be put first.

Mahad Ibrahim a student at Comboni secondary School in Juba and Ramadahan Bullen, a student at St Thomas Nursery and Primary school spoke to Child Rights activist, Kimmie Weeks, to find out more about a man who went through a difficult childhood but has emerged out of the ashes and is a powerful voice for the children.
