USA Warns: "South Sudan Leaders Risk losing U.S Support"

The United States has warned that leaders in #SouthSudan risk losing U.S. support, if they do not participate in a high-level forum on the revitalization of the Peace agreement and stick to deadlines for a cease-fire and political process to end their civil war.

U.S. deputy ambassador to the United Nations, Michele Sison said the Revitalization Forum being organized by the regional group #IGAD is "the last chance" for salvaging the August 2015 peace agreement.

She said that it is important for the leaders to participate in this high-level forum in good faith and stick to its deadlines.
