UPDATE: Suspect in January Home Invasion Robbery Pleads Guilty, Sentenced to 10 Years

(August 14, 2017) - A suspect arrested by Cape Coral Police in a January home invasion robbery has pled guilty, and was sentenced to 10 years in state prison.

Cameron Duffy (DOB: 9-23-95) pled guilty to his involvement in a home invasion robbery that occurred on January 17, 2017 (CR# 17-000913). Duffy was sentenced to 10 years in state prison for the offense.

"Special thanks to patrol and K-9 who assisted greatly to include a traffic stop several days after the robbery; they stopped a vehicle occupied by Mr. Duffy and had the forethought to photograph a mask located in the back seat. This was a key piece of evidence in the case. A lot of work went into this case, thank you to everyone involved." ~Sgt.
