All Nigerian homemade videos and others are available for download at #iflix, Nigeria's pioneer online video library.

The launch of #iflix on Thursday 17th August , 2017 in Lagos underscores the need for effective use of the digital technology revolution to promote Nigeria's rich cultural heritage and core values including respect for elders, brotherly love and peaceful coexistence.

The platform's Manager for Nigeria, Mr. Ali Yakubu and many others at the launch also agreed that with #iflix a limitless door of opportunity has opened for creative Nigerians in the entertainment industry especially the youths who will easily market their productions.

It is no loner news that the world is rapidly going digital and knowledge based economy is the trend.

For Nigerian youths to key into this experience, requires them to put their creativity in use by by producing local contents including videos which internet users could easily access online.

Mr. Ali Yakubu , said that iflix online video library was taking advantage of the digital revolution to promote local contents and economically empower the youths in film production, music and others in the entertainment industry.

Contributing #iflix Country Manager Ngozi Madueke-Dozie emphasized that the large number of Nigerians using mobile phones makes the country a very fertile ground for investors in the digital technology.

According to Madueke-Dozie , it has been projected that by 2020 over seventy million Nigerians would be connected to the digital world which would significantly contribute to the economy if well managed.
