Laughter is good for your brain. It reduces stress and raises self-esteem. It boosts creativity and productivity. It builds empathy—the ability to experience other people’s feelings as if they were your feelings. It helps to resolve conflict (how can two people stay mad if they’re both laughing?). It gives you a new perspective on life.
