Beatrice Soublet and her husband, Lawrence, received the 2012 Fr. Bruce Wilkinson Founders Award at the Atlanta Archdiocese celebration for the life of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

The award recognizes their leadership in many programs at their Catholic parish in Atlanta, from an anti-racism program they facilitate to mopping the floors at a lunch program for the hungry. They moved to Atlanta after Hurricane Katrina wrecked their home in New Orleans.
