On Wednesday, the Cleveland Indians became the first American League team to win 21 games in a row. The Indians' winning streak ties that of the 1935 Chicago Cubs as the second-longest in all of baseball since 1900. Cleveland is now within five more consecutive wins of catching the 1916 New York Giants, who won 26 straight games without a loss. The Indians, who made it to the World Series last October but lost to the Cubs, haven't won an MLB title since 1948.
