People spread stories about each other for many reasons. Jealousy, peer pressure, and meannessare just a few. The most hurtful stories are those that come from so-called “friends.” You may think you’re helping someone when you repeat an ugly story you’ve heard. You may think you’re just being honest. A Roman poet named Lucan once said, “Honesty is often in the wrong.”
TODAY I’ll let an ugly story or rumor end with me.
