Saturday Night's Not Alright for Fighting in South Cape

(September 18, 2017) - A disorderly evening in the South Cape Saturday night resulted in 3 arrests stemming from 2 incidents.

At approximately 9:30 p.m. officers responded to 1704 Cape Coral Parkway West (Burger King) in reference to a disorderly customer. They made contact with James Little (DOB: 6-13-66) who had become belligerent and began yelling and insulting employees due to his belief his order was taking too long. Little appeared intoxicated and had refused to leave the restaurant when asked. Based on the statements of restaurant staff and patrons, Little was arrested for disorderly intoxicated conduct in a public place, and transported to the Lee County Jail.

In a separate incident a few hours later, officers responded to 1023 SE 47th Terrace (Dixie Roadhouse) at approximately 1:00 a.m. Officers witnessed bar security staff attempting to throw 2 people out of the bar for starting a fight. The pair, identified as Meghan Pysher (DOB: 4-27-87) and Remington Lewis (DOB: 1-19-88) resisted security's efforts to remove them from the premises. Both were placed under arrest for disorderly intoxication, with Lewis also receiving a charge of resisting an officer without violence. Both Pysher and Lewis were transported to the Lee County Jail.
