Smok G150: portable power, internal Alien!

I have had this device for roughly 2 months at this point.

I actually have two of them.

Both are working fine as of this recording.

If you were debating between the alien AL85 and this device, as long as you don’t mind internals you should get this instead. Essentially it’s double the power, and double the battery. Plus it just looks better. It doesn’t have that flask screw cap Where the battery goes, because the batteries are internal and always will be. It charges relatively quickly, although you should keep it on overnight to be certain. Especially if you cannot see the battery meter. Obviously, keep an eye on your device to make sure that it is not getting too hot.

If you press wattage up and fire and hold for a second, you can get to the preheat functions. Min, soft, normal, hard, and Max. Essentially, these control the initial firing wattage. The names should be self-explanatory. They either boost or cut the signal by a certain percentage of your designated wattage that you set with the wattage up/down buttons. I have not used this in Temp mode. Nor do I plan on it. Too complicated for one thing, and I don’t have any temp control coils except for stainless.

To turn off the device completely, press the fire button five times quickly to lock the device, and then hold the fire button for roughly 5 seconds. Then let go, tap once more the fire button, then press and hold for a second or so. Within a few seconds, the screen will go completely blank and the device will not respond to random button presses or waste battery power.
