“The trouble with not having a goal is that you can spend your life running up and down the field and never scoring.” Bill Copeland

Do you sometimes feel that your life has no purpose or meaning? That you’re not accomplishing much, even though you’re always busy? As if you’re running and running but never quite getting anywhere? Goals make it possible for you to get somewhere. If you want more control over your life, start by setting at least one long-range goal—something important and meaningful you’d like to accomplish within the next three to six months. Next, come up with three short-range goals that will help you reach your long-range goal. Break your short-range goals into steps . . . and get started.

TODAY I’ll set goals for my life.
