“If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again.” Most of us learn this saying when we are very young. We learn that it’s shameful to give up and give in—but sometimes it’s smart to know when to quit. Quitting doesn’t always equal defeat. It can be a positive, healthy choice.

TODAY I’ll decide to keep trying—or quit.
