SPLA soldier dismissed from service for sexually assaulting a 3-year-old girl

An SPLA soldier has been dismissed from the force after he was found guilty of sexually assaulting a 3- year old girl.

Tito Majok, at the rank of a private, was arrested in August after the victim’s mother brought the incident to the attention of the army.

The Military court martial convened a hearing today to pass the verdict against the accused person.

Court presided over by Brigadier Gen Faisal Yahouza, sentenced the soldier to two years in civilian prison. Additionally, the soldier was fined 30,000 Pounds in damages to the victim’s relatives and a dismissal from service after serving his jail term.
