kmfm's been told young people are continuing to struggle to get on the property ladder in Kent because of stamp duty... It's a form of tax you have to pay if you're buying a property that's more than £125,000. Buyers here in the county fork out an average of £7,300 in stamp duty. New figures also show it's taking a lot longer to buy a house now than 10 years ago while the average selling price in more than £345,000.
