UNICEF Embarks on Expansion of water project in Wau town

The United Nations Children’s agency – UNICEF has embarked on an expansion of the urban water project, to improve water access to the residential areas in Wau town.

With funding from the Government of Japan, the project Government is expected to be completed in two month time.

Shefiq Rahaman, UNICEF Chief of Field Office for Bahr Elghazal says the aim of the project is to address the issue of water shortage usually experience by the citizens during the dry season in Wau
