Did you ever get to meet Lady Ursula? I met Lady Wraxall- well I’d seen Lady Wraxall, obviously I didn’t know who she was when I first went there, and they tried to pull a trick on me ‘cause if you knew Lady Wraxall at the time, she dressed in black, old big black hat on I always remember, and we were working in the garden and this lady was in the garden and they tried to get me to go up and tell this lady that she shouldn’t be in the garden, but they stopped me in time. I was fifteen; a novice and I didn’t realize what they were up to. Obviously they were always playing tricks on the newcomers.
