Episode 6 - Andy Pick and Billy Root join Luke Fletcher to talk opening the bowling with Sir Richard Hadlee and having the England captain as a brother

For the sixth episode of the Talk Of Trent Bridge podcast, hosted by Luke Fletcher, the Bulwell Bomber is joined by Billy Root and Andy Pick to assess the season so far and look ahead to the fixtures to come.

Bowling coach Pick talks about his 35 years with the Club, including leading the attack in the 1980s with Sir Richard Hadlee, whilst Root explains why his brother being England captain is ‘normal’.

The trio also discuss the England squad for the upcoming first Test of the summer and the journey that Root took to make it in professional cricket.
