Civil Society reaction to Khartoum Declaration

A civil society activist says ‘political will’ and ‘flow of information’ are key actions needed to realize the success of the permanent ceasefire that was signed by the parties to the agreement in Khartoum yesterday. 

Edmund Yakani, Executive Director of the Community Empowerment for Progress Organisation welcomes the signing of the ‘Khartoum Declaration.

He told Irene Lasu that it’s up to the Principals to ensure its successful implementation.
