USAID injects $60 million dollars to support emergency education

The United States Agency for International Development – USAID, is today announcing a new project designed to deepen the reach of the Emergency Education across the country.

The Integrated Essential Emergency Education Services project implemented by the United Nations Children’s Fund – UNICEF is expected to cover ten former states and beneficiaries outside of the Protection of Civilian (PoC) camps and IDP settlements.

Ms, Wendy Wheaton, Acting Education Director USAID South Sudan Mission, and Nor Shirin MD Mokhtar, Chief of Education in UNICEF, were hosted on the Breakfast show to  highlight the impact of the emergency education and its progress.
