UK Special Envoy tells Radio Miraya why Trust and Confidence is needed to bring Peace in South Sudan

The British special envoy to Sudan and South Sudan has been closely following the developments regarding the ongoing efforts to revitalise the agreement to resolve the conflict in South Sudan.

Before coming to Juba, Ambassador Chris Trott, was in Khartoum to Catch up with the negotiations and to listen to the ideas about potential compromises. 

He also met with members of the civil society group and interacted with key stakeholders who have over the past few months been busy trying to strike a deal that will eventually deliver peace in South Sudan. 

Ambassador Chriss Trott was hosted on Miraya Breakfast Show today, to  provide his perspective on the progress made, opportunities and prospects of the ongoing peace process.
