South Sudan Red Cross advocates for First Aid skills in South Sudan

[…] "You do not need a licence to save lives … taking a photograph at a scene of accident as someone is bleeding to death, does not save life, it should be the responsibility of everybody to save lives." That's according to Joseph Lukak, South Sudan red cross chief, Juba Branch.

He was speaking ahead of #WorldFirstAidday observed each year on September 08th to promote the importance of first aid in saving lives and preventing injury.

Joseph Lukak together with Simon Charles, a First Aid responder explained why it is becoming increasingly important for every citizen to equip themselves with first aid skills.
