Koen Sevenants, Marks World Mental Health Day with a Radio Discussion
Koen Sevenants, the Coordinator of South Sudan's Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Working Group, which is made up of UN and NGO organizations, appeared live on Miraya Breakfast Show today to mark World Mental Health Day.
He discussed a range of mental health questions with Sebit William and responded to questions from three callers.
Sevenants emphasized the importance of talking about mental health and not just stay silence.
"Do not just suffer in silence, please come out! talk to people, talk to friends," says Sevenants.
He concluded with an important message to people with mental health problems, "Please come out."
