“The way we played not only garnered national titles; it developed great people.”
As a young athlete, Olympic rower Jason Dorland was coached to fear failure, and that there was no tactic or strategy that was unacceptable in trying to attain the goal of winning. Using this attitude as a coach himself, he realized how afraid his athletes were of disappointing him. In this talk, Jason discusses the importance of loving your sport, the true spirit of the Olympics, and the exceptional results that come from creating a 'Safe to Fail' environment for your athletes.
