Budget 2012; the polarised debate on tax

The pre-budget knives are out...Lib Dems want to tax wealth, Labour wants to tax pensions, Tories want to cut the 50p tax rate. Is there any way out for the Chancellor? I've been talking to voters in Birmingham and one of Cameron's former speech writers in London.
