Marilyn discusses her role as Head of Art, her love of teaching at special needs school and how this connects to her practice as an artist. She shares her drive to ensure that the process of artistic endeavour is at the heart of her students’ education by focusing on exploration, trying things out and making mistakes. Marilyn also discusses the importance of intuition in the classroom and not being rigid when things aren’t going to plan.
