Experimental Poet - Pascalle Burton 🇦🇺

Season 1, Episode 25,   Mar 06, 2019, 07:00 AM

This week I'm joined by the delightful and super talented experimental poet, Pascalle Burton.

Pascalle’s poetic output meets at, and crosses over many creative junctions: writing, performance, visual, music, film, jewellery and zines. With both conceptual art and cultural theory being the seedbed of her work, she often responds to existing texts and imagery and transforms them into something new - extending the energy.

Pascalle discusses her creative process and how editing - and not being precious - is integral to the final output. She also talks about her decision on how best to financially support her creative practice to ensure she has space, time and energy to focus on the work.

Pascalle also performs four pieces of her work - through out the podcast! They are bloody fantastic!
