South Sudan largest arts for peace festival kicks off this weekend

The third annual festival of arts and culture gets underway in Juba this weekend.

The two-day Hagana Festival starting on Saturday will bring South Sudan’s artists to showcase their talents through Visual Art, Music, Spoken Word, Fashion, Traditional and Contemporary Dancing, Comedy, Theatre, and Storytelling.

Speaking to radio Miraya ahead of the event, John Ador, a youth activist said this year’s festival would focus more on using arts to promote peace messages.
