The last time Abel Gance's Napoleon was shown in the US was 30 years or so ago - when it played to sold out shows at Radio City Music Hall. A restored, five-and-a-half hour version of the film will be having four showings, with live accompaniment by the Oakland East Bay Symphony, at the historic Paramount Theatre. Carl Davis, the composer of the score will conduct.
