Episode 1,   May 31, 2019, 08:08 PM

As the Syrian regime with Russia backed by Iran are engaged in a scorched earth campaign against civilians in Idlib bombing hospitals schools and all vital human services in an already war ravaged region, members of the Irish Syrian Solidarity Movement protested outside the EU Commission offices in Dublin. Appalled by the indifference shown by the EU and Member State governments at the human catastrophe unfolding in North West Syria campaign members called for urgent action to halt the bombing as thousands of Syrians in Idlid gather (today, Saturday May 31, 2019) to protest at the border to be allowed to escape and liberate their families from inevitable death at the hands of the Assad, Russian and Iranian forces.

At the same time Syrian campaign and humanitarian groups like the Syria Civil Defence or White Helmets are demanding urgent action as Idlib is rapidly turning into the worst holocaust in the 9 year history of crimes against humanity since the Assad regime began crushing the peaceful uprising unleashed in 2011.

Filmmaker ANNE DALY interviewed members of the Irish Syria Solidarity Movement asking them what can be done to stop the mass atrocities against civilians in Idlib.
