The Defence Secretary Penny Mordaunt told a conference that she believes the Army's ethos can 'make a real difference to young people'. Options under consideration include using soldiers to mentor young people and sending more teenagers to military-style colleges where the emphasis is on self-discipline, physical fitness, a sense of duty and service.
