Episode 1000, Sep 17, 2019, 01:16 PM
A technical committee is to be put in place to review oil transportation fees paid by South Sudan to Sudan. The spokesperson in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mawien Makol Arik, says the matter came up for discussion during a recent visit by Sudan’s Prime Minister to Juba.
He says the Juba government indicated to Premier Abdallah Hamdock that the current fees that were negotiated in 2012 were based on previous output levels.
Mawien Makol Arik says the technical team will draft a position paper for presentation to Khartoum. #SouthSudan #Faith4SouthSudan #PeaceAgreement @AfricaOilPower #SSOP2019
