When the Levein breaks

Season 2, Episode 14,   Nov 01, 2019, 05:00 AM

It was supposed to be the safest job in world football. But Craig Levein is no longer the Hearts manager as the club legend moves back upstairs until the end of the season

Andrew Slaven, JJ Bull and Fin Marks pore over the decision to ditch the manager just days before a League Cup semi-final with Rangers. And should it be Ross or Robinson who takes over at Tynecastle?

The other semi-final is also Edinburgh v Glasgow. Hibs, struggling just as badly as their neighbours, up against Celtic, who are going for the less catchy quadruple treble.

In the Championship, it’s 3rd versus 1st as Inverness Caledonian Thistle take on Lawrence Shankland, or Dundee United as they’re also known. Although it’s unlikely Shankland will be taking on United’s massive debt.
