Anthony Raymond, General Counsel and Director of Legal Services, The Pensions Regulator

Episode 81,   Nov 27, 2019, 05:00 AM

Governance is at the heart of what The Pensions Regulator (TPR) does because good governance means good outcomes for members. With a wealth of new statutory guidance coming into force, especially in such areas as ESG, Anthony has been instrumental in delivering education and support to help trustees find their way through this new regulatory landscape.

Joining us at our DB/DC Client Investment Conference earlier this autumn, Anthony discussed the work of TPR, its key areas of focus including the “21st Century Trusteeship” project and, of course, how incorporating financially material ESG factors into investments can help better prepare schemes for the future and manage long-term risks.
