UFO encounters are unique. Some are terrifying. Experiencers are happy to forget and let the memory die. Terry didn't intend to go public with his until a discovery in 2012 changed his mind.
Edited for broadcast - this abbreviated radio interview with Terry Lovelace includes his experience as a hospital director educating himself on the 1918 Flu epidemic and how that relates to our current Covid-2019 scenario. We risk potentially widespread fatal consequences in not taking quick action to minimize contact and reduce exposure.
In regard to his UFO experience in 1977, he tucked that away as a personal footnote and had no intention of going public until an exam to remove a cyst revealed the presence of an anomaly. The anomaly is a tiny piece of metal with wires attached embedded in his leg - without the usual [and normal] tell tale scar.
He shared the image of that implant for this interview.
Terry talks about what happened to the friend ('Toby')who was with him, what happened when he tried to track him down, and the reaction from others as a result of going public.

Downside = would include being harassed by military helicopter flybys over his house for reasons unknown.
