Fresh afternoon in the desert

Ciudad Juarez, Mexico lockdown sound recorded by Lorena Mondragon.

"This is the sound out of my room window in my parent's house. Spring has arrived, and with a large fig tree in the backyard, many birds are attracted during the day. The skies are blue with fluffy white clouds. People here usually have dogs in their backyards, so it's normal to hear them barking at passing birds.

"Things in Mexico seem uncertain. Official numbers are pretty low in comparison to other countries, so there is an air of mistrust in the government. Many people are staying home, but many others are still acting carelessly."
