South Sudan people’s defence force says perpetrator of yesterday’s shooting at the Sherikat residential area in Juba yesterday has been arrested together with his six bodyguards. Army spokesperson, Major General Lul Ruai Koang said Lt. Col Lual Akook Wol Kiir together with his six bodyguards will be arraigned before a court martial for trial. 

Gen Koang says rules and regulations require the army to maintain cordial relations with civilians.
