Enter the Dragon

The crew screen Enter the Dragon in hopes that Mike will obtain some much needed combat pointers before he competes in the annual Slaughterfest (aka: Employee Reviews).

It’s hard to believe it’s already been a year since Mike joined our ranks, replacing a presumed dead Cody Eastlick and rising from the lowly role of Trainee all the way to the esteemed position of Assistant Shift Leader. But alas, Mike cannot simply rest on his laurels -- no, because being that it’s his one year anniversary with the company, he must compete in Slaughterfest (aka: Employee Reviews). And he’ll have some stiff competition too, because this year’s combatants are truly the most deadly in all of the wasteland.

However, since we like Mike (and in all honesty, it’d be hard to find a replacement that cooks rat meat as good as him), I decided to be nice and throw him a bone before the Slaughter -- I mean, Employee Review, begins. With that in mind, we’re screening an instructional video featuring none other than Martial Arts Legend Bruce Lee to help Mike out before he enters the fight - (ahem, review) of his life.

I’m your host, David Snider, and joining me as we toast Mike’s one year anniversary (and imminent death) are fellow cinephiles and karate school dropouts Ryan Caldwell and Special Guest (and Slaughterfest combatant) Cody Eastlick.

Listen as we discuss Enter the Dragon’s legacy and the many knockoffs it inspired; we marvel at Bruce Lee’s superhuman abilities; and finally, we demand justice for Williams as we rewrite the film’s third act.
