Connecticut Today with Paul Pacelli touched on a very interesting subject that has seemingly taken a backseat due to all the political talk. J.D. Flynn, the editor-in-chief for the Catholic News Agency joined Paul today to talk about how Pope Francis is supporting same-sex unions in the Catholic church, and the backlash and condemnation coming from Catholic Officials (0:24). Later on in the program, Paul spoke with Associate Professor of Political Science at Southern Connecticut State University, Jennifer Hopper, about last nights debate and communication with students in this political season (11:17)
