Maddy Playle is joined by Andrew Dietz, James Norris and Paddy Power’s Paul Binfield to look back on a mouth-watering weekend of racing. Down Royal, Wetherby and Ascot were spoilt with superstars including the exuberant Envoi Allen who won on chase debut and was the second winner of eight for Gordon Elliot in Ireland this weekend.
In England the stand out performances came from Cyrname in the Charlie Hall and Imperial Aura who has been cut to joint favourite for the Paddy Power Gold Cup. The former proved doubters wrong when winning easily going left-handed and over three miles.
The team also pick apart tomorrow’s Melbourne Cup whilst keeping an eye on further international racing as the Breeders' Cup kicks off on Friday at Keeneland.
