Poverty, an abusive relationship and feeling stuck as a dancer that she didn’t want to be, Marie talks openly about how she grew up feeling trapped, powerless and incapable. But how she changed this by writing a new narrative for her life and taking the action to achieve it. She became a lawyer and founded Empowerment House, a network and programme which enables women to take their power back or even realise it for the first time. In this episode Marie shows that anything is possible to achieve when you empower yourself to do it. She also provides practical advice to those who want to make a change in their lives but who maybe afraid to start.
