Commodore Ronald W. Warwick on A Ship’s Master as a CEO, Life on the Queen Elizabeth 2, Building the Queen Mary 2, Visiting the RMS Titanic and more

Commodore Ronald W. Warwick is one of a select group which have commanded one of the greatest ships ever to have been built: the Queen Elizabeth 2. Ron began his career at sea at the age of 15 as a cadet at the training ship HMS Conway in the UK. He then went on to sail on a variety of cargo ships until 1970 when he joined the famous Cunard Line. He sailed on a number of Cunard’s vessels, including the QE2, in various different capacities until in 1990 when he was appointed to the command of the QE2.

Ron has so many stories that I feel we only scratched the surface of a treasure trove of memories. So sit back and listen to Commodore Ron Warwick discuss all of the above and much more.

Ron and his son Sam are authors of the book QE2: The Cunard Line Flagship, Queen Elizabeth 2
