There are stories that have surfaced since the years of the Second World War heralding from the Pacific arena that are indeed both strange and terrifying... Tales of Japanese forces that indicate they perhaps had more to deal with in the jungle besides the terrain and allied attacks. Reports of monster-sized entities lurking in the dense virgin rainforest of Guadalcanal, entities we can only describe as Giants!

What exactly these creatures are is unknown, but the belief in their existence is strong across the islands. A relic human species? Completely unknown ape-like creature? Or something else all together? On this episode we are joined by Nikolaus Cox! Archeologist, adventurer, author, illustrator and so much more to chat about his excavations on the Solomon Islands, and indeed his ideas on the Giants of Guadalcanal.
