Three private labs accredited for COVID-19 testing

Three private laboratories have been accredited to do COVID-19 testing.  

 
Med-Blue Laboratory, Queen Medical Complex and Nojum are all authorized to conduct the tests for travelers. 
 

The Chief of Operations for COVID-19 at the Public Health Emergency Operation Centre, Dr. Angelo Guop Thon says, one of the three private facilities had earlier been cautioned for failing to submit detailed reports.

 

"We threatened to withdraw their license for not submitting detailed information on travelers to the public health laboratory," Dr Thon said, elaborating that the lab in question has since complied and is authorized to do testing.
