South Sudan commemorates International Girls in ICT Day

Girls have for a long time been considered the weaker sex in academic work when it comes to science and technology, including mathematics. Today, as the world commemorates International Girls in ICT Day, girls in South Sudan are being encouraged to embrace science and technology in their academic journey. Yine Yenki Nyika, the co-founder and Mentorship Director at Go Girls ICT Initiative says girls have the potential to embrace even subjects perceived to be highly technical.
