Juba city council to meet chamber of commerce over multiple taxes

A meeting between traders and the Juba city council to address multiple taxes, is expected to take place today. 

The chairperson of Central Equatoria state chamber of commerce, Robert Pitia, says the meeting will also discuss an alternative space for the roadside hawkers affected by the current crackdown by the city council.      

Vendors across markets in Juba have long complained of over taxation by numerous officials including security personnel deployed in the markets.
