(3/4) What Do I Do When…. (S)He Leaves Me

Episode 43,   May 23, 2021, 04:16 AM

Whether it was a breakup, death, bad business partner, or even spouse, we all go through breakups. When we go through hard seasons, we just want it to be done and over with. Instead, we should think about “God, what do you want me to learn from this suffering?"

In this episode, Gabby gives you 4 ways to not allow this breakup, death, or divorce to break who you are.

Other Advice:
A) Throw on some worship music
B) Talk to a friend and/ or counselor
C) Call God what you need Him to be (Jehovah-Jirer, Jehovah- Rafah, etc.)

MAJOR POINTS
1. Breakups are hard, but it is all for a purpose honey.

2. Release it to Jesus

3. The suffering that Jesus endured is greater than our suffering.

BIBLE VERSES
For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in him, but also to suffer for him, since you are going through the same struggle you saw I had, and now hear that I still have.
Phillipians 1: 29- 30 NIV

Trust in the Lord and do what is good;
 dwell in the land and live securely.
Take delight in the Lord,
 and he will give you your heart’s desires.
Commit your way to the Lord;
 trust in him, and he will act,
making your righteousness shine like the dawn,
 your justice like the noonday.
Be silent before the Lord and wait expectantly for him;
 do not be agitated by one who prospers in his way,
 by the person who carries out evil plans.
Psalms 37: 3-7 CSB

Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath
Ephesians 4:26 KJV

Consider it a great joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you experience various trials, because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance. 4And let endurance have its full effect, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing.
James 1: 3-5 CSB

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
Matthew 11: 28- 30 ESV

And he said to them, “Take nothing for your journey, no staff, nor bag, nor bread, nor money; and do not have two tunics.
