Maddy Playle is joined by Lee Mottershead and Mark Boylan for a look ahead to the 2021 Royal Ascot Festival 👑

Kicking things off at the royal meeting is the Queen Anne Stakes, where Palace Pier will bid to land his fourth Group 1, but having been a beaten favourite when last seen at the track in the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes, the team eye up some big-priced outsiders who they think can hit the frame.

Battaash went unbeaten last season, but he will be taking to the track for the first time in almost ten months in Tuesday’s King's Stand Stakes. Are the team optimistic about the chances of the seven-year-old, or do they think he’s a vulnerable favourite?

One-time Arc favourite Love will be out to try and re-stamp her credentials among the world’s best in the Prince Of Wales's Stakes but faces tough competition from Lord North and stablemate Armory.

Stradivarius will be bidding to win his fourth Gold Cup, in the process emulating that of Yeats from 2006 - 2009. However, with the forecast showing signs of potential showers, is there cause for concern about the John Gosden-trained seven-year-old?

The panel also dissect the St James's Palace Stakes, Commonwealth Cup, Coronation Stakes and the Diamond Jubilee Stakes before each giving a juvenile and handicapper to keep an eye on as well as their NAP of the week!
